Studio Project 2: Soluna
Drawing inspiration from its iconic parent brands, Vivienne Westwood and Flower Knows, Soluna brings together the boldness of rebellion and punk with the soft, whimsical charm of delicate femininity. This unique fusion reflects a balance between strength and grace, mirroring the relationship between opposites. Soluna celebrates the timeless dance of the sun and moon, two contrasting yet complementary forces, channeling their essence into the art of harmonious matchmaking. By blending edgy innovation with poetic beauty, Soluna redefines the boundaries of style and connection, creating something truly extraordinary.

Draping
This gown was created with draping techniques where i draped a base bustier top and a secondary layer of origami hearts.I used beads, applique and gemstones as embellishments to enhance the look of the bustier gown. i also created a zero waste skirt

In this module, we had to explore various textile manipulation techniques to create interesting and unique pieces. i went along with a bright floral theme. i used multiple techniques such as silk screening, tie-dyeing, slashing, embroidery, weaving, crocheting and patchwork

In this module, we learnt how to use fashion illustrative techniques in order to communicate fashion design and styling ideas to the target audiences. i chose decora as my theme and included many bright colours together and elements such as candy, teddy bears and ribbons
